My regular blog readers know that I have a pretty comprehensive Disney land city built out of LEGO. But now that Disney and Star Wars are together, it is time that I start to add all the new LEGO Star Wars sets to my collection. This is the new Resistance Y-wing Fighter, LEGO Star Wars set 75249

Boy, do I have a lot of work to do to get caught up with all the previously released sets – will I be able to do it and how long will it take?

October 4, 2019, according to all my sources. I don’t know if it will be available for LEGO VIP purchase before, but if I find out, this is the place to look.

Some say that we don’t really need another Y-wing, but others are saying that LEGO finally got the scale right for the front of this fighter. All I know is that by the time the Renaissance came along this was considered old tech.

LEGO 75248 A-Wing Fighter

I’m sure you agree with me that it is about time for a new LEGO A-Wing fighter. This is a set that has been released before, but the new one is rumored to have only 2 minifigures, and have more of a green color scheme rather than a red one. I’ve also heard this version is based on the Rise of Skywalker movie.

Everything I have learned about this new wave of Star War Sets is that it will be released on October 4th. I’m sure it will be on line, at retail stores, as well as at the official LEGO store.

All I can see from the secret photos I’ve looked at for this set is a single ship, with green markings over a white frame. There appears to be a stud shooter, and a secret compartment.

LEGO 75246 Death Star Canyon

The other day I learned about an upcoming and unreleased new LEGO Star Wars set, Death Star Canyon, Set number 75246. As of the time of this blog post, this is a rumored set, not yet on the market. It is based on the classic scene at the end of Episode 4 A New Hope. Just as a bit of trivia, I was 6 when that movie was released and my parents wouldn’t let me see it until I was 7.

LEGO 75223 Naboo Starfighter Microfighter

LEGO 75223 Naboo Starfigher Microfighter 485

Can you believe this is part of the 6th series of microfighters?  Of course it is the first I’m building on this channel.  I love these sets for their swoosh-ability.  This starwars Microfighter comes with a Kid Anakin, a R2-D2 dome top and a couple of flick missles for some cool combat.
