As of writing this Article, I know that there will be two new LEGO microfighter Sets. This is the Resistance Y-wing Microfighter, LEGO set 75263-1. The other is Kylo Ren’s Shuttle microfighter.
This is the Devastator, the new for 2019 LEGO Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) Imperial Star Destroyer. Set number 75252. It’s over 43 inches long – That’s almost 4 feet, it’s taller than many fan’s kids! As I get more details I’ll share them here, but for now this is what has been officially released by the LEGO group.

The websites that leak new LEGO sets are all abuzz about a new LEGO Star Wars UCS Imperial Star Destroyer. If you don’t know what UCS means in LEGO terms it’s Ultimate Collector Series. These are the really big, fancy, and expensive sets that the hard core collectors and super fans wait all year for. The last one released was the Millennium Falcon, and so the Imperial Star Destroyer would be the perfect compliment to that.
But this was an announcement for an announcement. LEGO Tweeted a 11 second video, saying more would come on November 5 2019. I’ve tried to come up with why that date is important and all I can think of is that it is the birthday of Werner Herzog who is going to be in the new Disney TV The Mandalorian.
Then a few days later on September 5th they released this video as well as some official photos:

LEGO 75252 Star Wars UCS Imperial Star Destroyer Minifigures
There are only 2 minifigures included in this set: an imperial Officer and Imperial Crewmember minifigures. This is different than my original estimate of it having quite a few. Because of the cost of this set, and the limited number of minifigures, these are sure to become very collectible and expensive.
One of only 2 minifigures in the new UCS Imperial Officer from LEGO. Set number 75252. This one will be quite rare. This is the other minifigure from LEGO 75252 – UCS Imperial Star Destroyer. Since the set costs 700, and there are only 2 minifigures, this is sure to be a collectible.
Of course the minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!
LEGO 75252 Star Wars UCS Imperial Star Destroyer Price
I originally estimated this set to sell for $700, and the price was released at $699.00. It will be available to LEGO VIP members starting on Sept 18, 2019, and then everywhere on Oct 1, 2019.
LEGO 75252 Star Wars UCS Imperial Star Destroyer Review
There will be 4,784 pieces in the LEGO 75252 UCS Imperial Star Destroyer set. This is a little bit less than the 5200 that are in the UCS Milennium Falcon Set LEGO 75192.
According to the designer video it is based on the ship from the first Star wars movie, and was designed to be as accurate as possible. It is one of the first UCS models he has built to use a Technic interior framework. While the outside is mostly bley (blue grey) in color, the inside is very colorful which helps with the build.
In addition to the main ship, minifigures, and stand, there is a scale version of the Rebels’ Tantive IV starship.

The latest LEGO Millennium Falcon is rumored to be based on the one found in Episode 9 – The Rise of Skywalker. I haven’t yet seen enough photos to give it an accurate analysis, but there is one thing I know. With so many different versions of LEGO Falcon’s I believe every new LEGO designer has to build one to have a job.
When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).
LEGO 75257 Millennium Falcon Release Date
The new Kylo Shuttle will be released on October 8, along with the latest wave of the new Star Wars LEGO sets.
LEGO 75257 Millennium Falcon Minifigure
I have a feeling this set will be very popular not only because it has 6 minifigs, but of who they are:
Lando
Chewbacca
C-3PO
R2-D2
Finn
and a new alien figure whose name and species are so far unknown
Of course the minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!
Is Kylo Ren Related to Batman? It seems like he only builds in black (or very Dark, Dark Grey). Jokes aside, this is a very cool ship. The Star Wars Kylo Ren Shuttle from Episode 9 has great play features including moving wings which is an improvement over the previous version LEGO released.
When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).
LEGO 75256 Kylo Ren’s Shuttle Release Date
The new Kylo Shuttle will be released on October 8, along with the latest wave of the new Star Wars LEGO sets.

two Knights of Ren.
Of course the minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!
I love Yoda. Especially the LEGO Yoda Minifigures. But to me, this Brick Built LEGO Yoda just looks a little bit blocky to me. Maybe I should think of it as pixelaed – yes, that’s what I’ll call this version – the 8-bit Yoda. Of course I’ll probably buy this because of all the bricks.
When available, I will official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).
LEGO 75255 Yoda Release Date
The 8-Bit LEGO Yoda will be released on October 8, along with the latest wave of the new Star Wars LEGO sets.
LEGO 75255 Yoda Minifigure
I’m not 100% entirely sure if this set will contain a Yoda Minifigure. Some brick built sets in the past have had them and some don’t. The unreleased and unauthorized images I’ve seen of the box seem to suggest we will be getting another Yoda Minifig – Yay!
The minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!
Like I mentioned above, this set is to blocky, and has too many studs showing for me to love it. But if the piece count is around the projected 1,700 I’ll be getting it, as these sets usually are a good deal for the price per piece ratio.

I’ve lost count at all the different walkers and raiders LEGO has released over the years. I’ve tried to go back and count them but I just cant without creating a spreadsheet. This will be a review of the NEW AT-ST Raider, LEGO set 75254 as soon as it comes out.
When an official photo is released, I’ll add it here, and then update it with my own picture when I get the set.

LEGO is putting out quite a few new Star Wars sets based on Episode 9. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is being recreated with this set. The Pasaana Speeder chase scene.
As my regular readers know I don’t post leaked photos, only officially released LEGO pictures, until I get the set, and then I change it to my own.

My regular blog readers know that I have a pretty comprehensive Disney land city built out of LEGO. But now that Disney and Star Wars are together, it is time that I start to add all the new LEGO Star Wars sets to my collection. This is the new Resistance Y-wing Fighter, LEGO Star Wars set 75249
Boy, do I have a lot of work to do to get caught up with all the previously released sets – will I be able to do it and how long will it take?
As soon as i get an official photo I’ll add it here.

LEGO Star Wars 75249 Resistance Y-wing Fighter Review
Some say that we don’t really need another Y-wing, but others are saying that LEGO finally got the scale right for the front of this fighter. All I know is that by the time the Renaissance came along this was considered old tech.

I’m sure you agree with me that it is about time for a new LEGO A-Wing fighter. This is a set that has been released before, but the new one is rumored to have only 2 minifigures, and have more of a green color scheme rather than a red one. I’ve also heard this version is based on the Rise of Skywalker movie.
If Available, put official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released
LEGO 75248 A-Wing Fighter Release Date
Everything I have learned about this new wave of Star War Sets is that it will be released on October 4th. I’m sure it will be on line, at retail stores, as well as at the official LEGO store.
LEGO 75248 A-Wing Fighter Minifigures
At this time I only know of two minifigures for this set, but they haven’t been confirmed. When I learn more I’ll add the info here, obviously.
Until then, here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!
The price for the new LEGO Star Wars A-Wing fighter is around $29.95.
LEGO 75248 A-Wing Fighter Review
All I can see from the secret photos I’ve looked at for this set is a single ship, with green markings over a white frame. There appears to be a stud shooter, and a secret compartment.

The other day I learned about an upcoming and unreleased new LEGO Star Wars set, Death Star Canyon, Set number 75246. As of the time of this blog post, this is a rumored set, not yet on the market. It is based on the classic scene at the end of Episode 4 A New Hope. Just as a bit of trivia, I was 6 when that movie was released and my parents wouldn’t let me see it until I was 7.
