The other day I learned about an upcoming and unreleased new LEGO Star Wars set, Death Star Canyon, Set number 75246. As of the time of this blog post, this is a rumored set, not yet on the market. It is based on the classic scene at the end of Episode 4 A New Hope. Just as a bit of trivia, I was 6 when that movie was released and my parents wouldn’t let me see it until I was 7.
As soon as an official set photo is released I’ll add it here.
LEGO 75246 Death Star Canyon Release Date
This new LEGO Star Wars set is rumored to be released on October 4th. I expect this will be widely released at the official LEGO stores, Target, Walmart, online at Amazon, as well as other retail stores.
LEGO 75246 Death Star Canyon Minifigures
It appears this set will have 2 minifigures: Obi-Wan, with a new hood piece, and an imperial trooper.
The minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!
Over time, sets like these seem to have more rare Star Wars Minifigures. I expect this one to be no different.

LEGO 75246 Death Star Canyon Review
You know I’ll be getting this set and reviewing it for new pieces and elements, adding the minifigures to my store and talking about all the cool features it has. Based on the box photos I’e seen it will have 2 scenes. The first one will be the one where Obi-Wan in sneaking around trying to deactivate the shield around the Death Star.
The other scene I can identify is a laser canyon manned by an Imperial trooper that will try to shoot down the Rebel fighters as they fly down the Death Star Canyon
