LEGO 41168 Elsa’s Jewelry Box

Of all the new Disney LEGO Frozen 2 sets being announced and eventually released, this one, Elsa’s Jewelry Box is my favorite. I don’t have Jewelry, but this set seems to have some great features and also has a lot of great parts that I see myself using in MOCS in my Disney LEGO City.

Tons of Trans Blue pieces, new blue gear parts, and even an ice horse minifig. Also purple bricks. Such a rare color!

When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).

LEGO 41168 Elsa’s Jewelry Box Release Date

The new series of LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets are scheduled to be released on November 22, according to my sources. This should be right around the time the new movie is also released.

LEGO 41168 Elsa’s Jewelry Box Minifigures

It looks like there is only one minidoll in this set – an Elsa. But there is also a trans blue ice horse – much in the same style as the new Patronus figure from the Harry Potter sets.

Of course the minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!

LEGO 41168 Elsa’s Jewelry Box Price

Unknown at this point. Probably around $39.99 based on the look on the box and all the minifigs, and the 300 piece count.

Coming soon! As soon as I have this cute little LEGO set in my hands, I’ll share it with you and update this post.

But it looks like there is a drawer that slides out for holding you cool and special stuff. And it looks like 2 LEGO rings are also included.

LEGO 41169 Olaf

Who doesn’t love Olaf – he’s the lovable snowman in the Disney Frozen 2 movie. This isn’t a minifigure though, but a brick built character. Not my favorite in the series, but when there are six new sets, some will be winners, and others will be misses.

When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).

LEGO 41167 Arendelle Castle

The Arendelle Castle is the largest set in the new LEGO Disney Frozen 2 series of sets. It’s designed for ages 5+ and even comes with a brick separator. I remember when that tool would only come in the most advance LEGO Expert Creator sets. Times have changed.

There is the Castle, a pretzel stand, a wooden boat, a Fish stand, and a lamp post plus three minifigures.

When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).

LEGO 41167 Arendelle Castle Minifigures

As I said in the intro, there are three minifigures in this set, an Elsa, and two others who I can’t quite identify. One could be Kristoff, but the other is a girl with brown hair and is different from Anna.

Of course the minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!

LEGO 41166 Elsa and the Reindeer Carriage Review

Coming soon! As soon as I have this cute little LEGO set in my hands, I’ll share it with you and update this post. It looks like he castle has 3 sections that come apart – so that will be fun to play with!

LEGO 41166 Elsa and the Reindeer Carriage

Of all the new LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets, this is one of three that has the Elsa character in it. Plus there is a Sven. You remember Sven, he is Kristoff’s Reindeer. The one with some sass. I’ll talk more about him in the minifigure section below, even though he is a LEGO Reindeer, and not a true minifig.

When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).

LEGO 41166 Elsa and the Reindeer Carriage Minifigures

Like I mentioned above this set has an Anna character. Did you know that she isn’t a Disney Princess? If you have seen the first movie, you know that she WAS a princess, but now is a Queen, so technically she can’t be a Disney princess. But – in the Frozen Movie 2 – the timeline is supposed to be before the first movie, so maybe she will be – who knows?

I also wanted to talk about the Sven character. This is a grey reindeer piece with lighter grey antlers, and fur. Sort of unique, but very cool! Plus it looks like there is another brown baby reindeer – could it be a brother to Sven, or maybe a kid? We will see!

Of course the minifigures for this set haven’t been released yet, but here are some others you might be interested in. Complete your minifigure collection!

Coming soon! As soon as I have this cute little LEGO set in my hands, I’ll share it with you and update this post. But be aware, this is a 4+ set – that line used to be called Juniors – so it will have smaller parts, but be a much easier build than other sets.

LEGO 41165 Anna’s Canoe

This is one of the more simple and affordable sets. There is a cool white canoe (that’s going to end up in my Disney LEGO city at some point) as well as a teeter totter, and some large panel bricks that looks like there are stickers on it. And a blue ice slide that we’ve seen in several Frozen LEGO sets before.

When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).

LEGO 41165 Anna’s Canoe Minifigures

I looks like there is only 1 minifigures in this set, an Anna character, as well as aon Olaf. But, I’m not sure to count the snowman as a minifig – he has the head and it looks like he has a torso, but I can’t be positive right now. T It also looks like there is a little brown bunny as well.

LEGO 41164 Enchanted Tree House

Of all the new sets, his one is perhaps he most interesting to me. It has a new character, one who I can’t quite identify, and it could be a spoiler for the movie. Not 100% sure though.

The Enchanted Tree house Frozen 2 set has 302 pieces and looks to use orange foilage. The tree house has a little platform with an a frame roof, and a lot of accessories. It also looks like there is some kind of zip line to another tree. Plus it looks like it might be near a cemetery based on the tombstones.

When available, I will post the official LEGO set PHOTO here (then change it to my set photo when released).

I looks like there are 2 minifigures in this set, but an Olaf. I’m not sure to count the snowman as a minifig – he has the head and it looks like he has a torso, but I can’t be positive right now. LEGO 10762 Belle’s Story Time

LEGO 10762 Disney Belle's Story Time

The other day I was double checking my Disney Princess minifigures, and I realized I was missing one. I needed Belle to complete my collection! Not any princess would do. I needed the LEGO Belle Minidoll from the retired set 10762 Belle’s Story Time.

Since I couldn’t find it on the LEGO website anymore, I turned to Amazon, and was able to find a new unopened and sealed set. I clicked the order button and a few days later it was in my mailbox.

LEGO 10762 Belle’s Story Time Release Date

This LEGO Juniors set was released in 2018 and unfortunately is no longer “officially” available, but it is still easy to find on-line if you want a set. It is now Retired. That just means it is still is supported by LEGO (you can get instructions and missing pieces if needed), just not for sale new anymore.

LEGO 10762 Belle's Story Time Box Front
The box for LEGO 10762 Belle’s Story Time. This is a Disney Junior’s set – so it is easier to build than regular sets. Geared for kids as young as 4 years old.

LEGO 10762 Belle’s Story Time Minifigure

There is only one minifigure in this set – Belle. She is actually a Minidoll, and not a minifigure. What’s the difference between a minidoll and a minifigure you ask? Well, let me tell you. Most people are familiar with a minifigure. Both minifigures and minidolls have 4 pieces – a head, a torso, feet, and hair. The main difference is that minidolls are less blocky, a tiny bit taller, and more slender. To me they look more like princesses.

I like to think of minifigures as regular people in my Disney LEGO city, and the minidolls are more like characters. It seems to make it more realistic for me when I do things this way.

Anyway, Belle has a yellow skirt, a yellow torso with some printing. Her arms have white gloves. Her head is one sided (all minidolls have only one face) and her hair is long and brown.

Here are some additional minifigures for sale:

LEGO 10762 Belle’s Story Time Instructions

The set comes with two bags. The first bag builds the belle minifigure and the accessories, and the second bag builds her little castle and the spinning table.

The instruction book that comes with the set is clear, and easy to understand, even for a child as young as 4. There are some small parts, so I wouldn’t let younger kids play with the set for safety reasons.

If you need the instructions for this set, you can download a PDF right from the LEGO website to use on your iPad.

LEGO 10762 Belle’s Story Time Review

Like I mentioned earlier, I purchased this set only for the Belle LEGO character. However, as I was building it, I had an idea to use it in my LEGO Disneyland. I’ll share more about that in a moment.

This set has 87 pieces that come in a small box. There are NO stickers, only printed pieces which include Cogsworth’s face, The Beast in a mirror, A Disneyland Book and printed tile, and a very cool rose printed on a trans window piece that resembles a stained glass window. Plus there is a printed cup with a face, and teapot too. I prefer sets that don’t have any stickers, because once you place a sticker on a brick, it has to be used as a specific piece. I like to be able to use my bricks any way I want, especially as MOCs.

This set has a lot of little accessories that make it fun to play with – you get a little brick built cart with a cake, a fountain, a book that opens and can be held in a minifigure (or minidolls hand) a table that spins, and a castle.

The castle is not very big, but has lots of great angles for photos, and that’s what I like so much about it. If you have ever been to Disneyland, there are 2 different main ways to get your photo taken with a character. You can try to find them wandering around the park, which can be really difficult, or you can check their schedule and see when they will be making an appearance in their special area.

That’s what I think of this castle. Its Belle’s special area for photos. She can stand near the rose, or behind the fence, or on a special stand, and then you can stand next to her and get your photo taken. I plan on incorporating these little vignettes at the back of my LEGO Disneyland for minifigures to pose next to their favorite LEGO Disney Princess or character.

LEGO 71044 Disney Train and Station

LEGO 71044 Disney Train and Station

Of course you had to know that I’d pick up this set and build it. I’m all about the LEGO + Disney. You’ve seen my LEGO Disneyland, right? You know that this website is a play on Disneyland (LEGO won’t let us use their trademarked name so everyone uses the word brick instead), right? Well, here it is. LEGO set 71044 Disney Train and Station. It’s got 2918 pieces, and 5 minifigures. With all that you can build a replica of the Lillybelle engine, and 3 cars, a model of the real Disneyland Train Station, and a loop of track. Plus it comes with the new power functions so you can just add a few AAA batteries and remote control it from your phone!
